Section 04

AI Ethics & Responsibility

We are committed to responsible AI development. We expect our clients to share this commitment. When using our AI services, you agree to:

  • Maintain human oversight — ensure meaningful human review of AI outputs before they affect individuals in consequential ways
  • Disclose AI use — where legally required or where users may reasonably expect to know, disclose that AI is being used in a product or decision
  • Conduct fairness assessments — evaluate AI outputs for potential bias before deploying in sensitive domains (hiring, credit, healthcare)
  • Document intended use — maintain clear documentation of what AI systems are designed to do and the safeguards in place
  • Respect intellectual property — ensure that AI training data and outputs do not infringe third-party rights

Snethic AI Labs follows the principles of the EU AI Act, IEEE Ethically Aligned Design, and NIST AI Risk Management Framework in our own development. We encourage clients to adopt similar frameworks.

Section 05

Synthetic Data Rules

Synthetic datasets generated by Snethic AI Labs are provided for specific, agreed purposes. You may not:

  • Represent synthetic data as real data to regulators, auditors, or third parties without disclosure
  • Use synthetic datasets to circumvent data protection requirements that would apply to real data
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or re-identify any individuals from synthetic datasets
  • Redistribute or resell synthetic datasets without our prior written permission
  • Use synthetic medical or financial data in live production systems without appropriate validation and regulatory approval
Section 06

Agentic Systems Rules

Autonomous agent systems built by Snethic AI Labs are powerful tools that can take real-world actions. Clients deploying such systems must:

  • Define clear scope limits — configure agents with explicit boundaries on what actions they may take
  • Implement human-in-the-loop checkpoints — for any action with significant financial, legal, or safety implications
  • Monitor agent behavior — maintain audit logs of all agent actions and review them regularly
  • Test before production — thoroughly test agentic pipelines in sandboxed environments before deploying to production
  • Incident response plan — have a documented process for halting or rolling back agent actions in case of unexpected behavior

You are responsible for the actions taken by agentic systems deployed in your environment. Snethic AI Labs is not liable for damages arising from autonomous agent actions that occur outside of agreed testing and validation periods.

Section 07

Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP. Upon determining that a violation has occurred, we may take the following actions, depending on severity:

Minor violations
Written warning and required remediation within 14 days
Moderate violations
Temporary suspension of services pending review
Severe violations
Immediate termination without refund and potential legal action
Illegal activity
Referral to appropriate law enforcement authorities
Section 08

Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any misuse of Snethic AI Labs services, or if you believe an AI system built with our technology is being used in a harmful or unlawful manner, please report it to us immediately.

All reports are treated confidentially. We will investigate and take appropriate action. Whistleblower protections apply — good-faith reporting will not result in any adverse consequences to the reporter.
